Assume that the laser radiation can potentially reach all areas of the treatment room and that therefore glasses are mandatory for all in the room.

Eyewear can include sleep masks for total eye coverage that is comfortable, compatible with spectacles and suitable for all ages

Keep the door to the treatment area closed.

Some surfaces can reflect the laser – remove or cover metal objects (including any on the patient) in the treatment area.

The NOMINAL OCULAR HAZARD DISTANCE IS 27 m for the handpiece.

Protective glasses should have the following standard.

DI 808 – 905 LB5 (according to the UNI EN 207: 2010 standard)
OD≥5 @ 808-905nm (according to the ANSI Z136.7 standard)
