This course equips healthcare professionals with the essential knowledge and practical skills to effectively integrate photobiomodulation (PBM) therapy into clinical practice, with a focus on the advanced capabilities of the M-Hi Laser by ASA Laser. Covering foundational science, treatment protocols for a range of conditions—including pain, inflammation, and tissue repair—and strategies for safe and effective device operation, the course also explores key business considerations such as pricing, marketing, and workflow integration. Whether new to laser therapy or expanding existing services, participants will gain the confidence and competence to deliver evidence-based, outcome-driven treatments that enhance patient care and boost practice profitability.

About the Presenter
This course is presented by Dr Karina Patel (BDS, DABDSM, DABCP, DABCDSM)
Dr. Patel qualified as a dentist at King’s College in London, UK, with further training in the USA, UAE, UK, and Australia.
She has a special interest in craniofacial pain and sleep-disordered breathing. This led her to become the director of TMJ and sleep therapy centres in London, Devon, and Dubai for over ten years.
At the London Sleep Centre, she worked with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and allied health professionals to find the most efficient patient pathways. She has treated over 5,000 patients with sleep breathing disorders and chronic pain complaints.
Dr. Patel has lectured internationally on sleep and pain and relocated to Australia in 2021, where she is now working to raise awareness about sleep disorders.
She is the founder of Sleepwell AU/NZ, a multidisciplinary education platform that focuses on sleep and pain management.
