Dr Karina Patel, BDS (London) DABDSM, DABCP, DABCDSM
Dr Karina Patel qualified as a dentist at King’s College in London, UK, with further development in the USA, UAE, UK and Australia.
Dr Patel has a special interest in Craniofacial pain and sleep disorder breathing. This led her to be the director of TMJ and sleep therapy centres in London, Devon and Dubai for over 10 years.
At the London Sleep Centre, she helped establish the most efficient patient pathways in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and allied health professionals. She has treated over 5000 patients with sleep breathing disorders and chronic pain complaints.
Dr Patel has lectured internationally on sleep and pain and relocated to Australia in 2021, where she is now helping to spread more awareness about sleep disorders.
She is the founder of Sleepwell AU/NZ, a multidisciplinary education platform focusing on topics related to sleep and pain management.
